ALL HAIL, UNFORTUNATE THE THIRD: CINNABUN!

Cinnabun (So dubbed by Eldest before her anticipated arrival) decided bring it on in the, Who's Daddy's Best Princess; or Who Loves Daddy the Best; or I'm Daddy's Favorite, unoffical contest; she decided to come on the Friday of Father's Day weekend and worked a bit of her ju-ju on the pediatric doctor who didn't finish the paperwork to discharge from the hospital till after dinner that Saturday... So, with that bit of a hold up, we weren't discharged till 11:40 am, Sunday--Father's Day; just in time to stop home, drop off some stuff and go out to eat at Chili's on base.

CrazyOne's Big Moment

This is a bit of what I have been up too, while trying to get my house in order... Look for another post within 48hrs.
Enjoy, I love her "Look At ME!" This video just makes me smile.

Oh YES: FOOD!!!

I have been able to eat nearly all that I desire for the past month now and I am reveling in it! Having a stable stomach again is such a joy, it really did bring tears to my eyes when I was finally over being sick by late second trimester. Once again I lifted my voice up in song to join Oliver's Food, Glorious Food ballad (yes, those of you who had not a choice in food depravation will agree with me; it is a ballad). Snack time had me singing with Templeton's, A Veritable Smorgasbord from Charlotte's Web. No, I am not into junk food like that, but I SO related to his euphoria.

Now Part 2 of 2 Ginger Chicken: The Chicken Soup

Now that I have gotten some sleep... and I do mean some, since it was quite elusive till after 01:30. Didn't help that I was stuffed like a puppy and paid dearly for the excessiveness; but it was SO GOOD, causing us all to stuff ourselves like puppies and prompting The CrazyOne to immediately request the soup for lunch. Fabulous idea and taking out the left over soup from the fridge,
opening it up,

Ginger Chicken Part I of 2

This has been the best pot of ginger chicken I have ever made. The first post of ginger chicken you read about here was a variation of my usual due to the mass quantities of lime and basil we had. This pot was my traditional form. Keeping it to the basics is what makes this dish grand and twice as grand the second time around in the Impervious' Chicken soup.
